The 3rd Annual Family Fun Day will be held on June 22, 2013.  The local fundraising event will be open to the public and held at Fun Day Rentals LLC in Dexter Township.  100% of all proceeds will go towards an "Educational Fund" established for the four surviving children of a dear friend, Joel Cleary - Lusk.  Joel had no life insurance when he died unexpectedly in a tragic car accident on his way to work the morning of October 1st 2008.  Since then, with help from friends, family, and the surrounding community we have organized an annual fundraising event in remembrance of Joel Cleary - Lusk.

 

There will be Door Prizes, Raffles, Live Music, Food, Bake Sale, Martial Arts Demonstration, Games, and Activities for the whole family.  Including a Nine Hole Miniature Golf Course, Pitch Out, Disc Golf, Bounce House, Skee Ball, Horse Shoes, Bank Shot, Giant Inflatable Slide, Pop The Balloons Dart Game, Krazy Kans, Milk Bottle Toss, Ringing The Bull, Frog Hop, Duck Races, Basketball Shootout, Coke Bottle Toss, Foosball, Potato Sack Races, Obstacle Course, Quarterback Toss, Suction Cup Archery, Bean Bag Toss, Slots - O - Fun, Cupcake Walk, Tic Tac Toss, Washers, Tug A War, Ladder Ball, Fish Bowl, Ring Toss, Volley Ball, and much, much, more.  Most of our games were handmade by the Dexter / Chelsea community for the local fundraising event.  The Games are built kid friendly and are fun for the whole family.  Most of them are challenging enough to entertain adults and children for hours and hours.

 

We appreciate all of the help and support we have received in the past, and we hope to make this year’s fundraiser the most successful yet.  We couldn’t do any of this without the support of such a wonderful heartfelt community.  Listed below are several ways that you and/or your business or organization can participate and become involved in this local fundraising event.

1.  If you would be willing to volunteer your time to help supervise an activity at the fundraiser.

2.  If you would be willing to donate food, beverages, prizes, or other supplies for the event.

3.  If you would be willing to donate raffle items and/or gift certificates to be raffled.

4.  If you would help promote the event by displaying our Family Fun Day flyer in your storefront.

5.  By posting links to  www.familyfunday.org  from your website, facebook, or other social media.

6.  If you would be willing to make a donation to the "Children’s Educational Fund."

7.  If you have any other ideas or suggestions that would help, to make this year’s event a success.
